Comfort Food


Policy Statement:
Each hotel must ensure that a selection of international and local favorite Comfort Foods, made to original and authentic recipes, are available in selected Outlets and Room Service.


Purpose:
To provide local restaurant diners and international travelers with familiar dishes they feel comfortable in ordering


Procedure:
  1. Identify the profile of customers that frequently stay in the hotel or patronize the various Food and Beverage outlets.
  2. Develop an appropriate selection of menu items that would best satisfy the profile of local and international guests.
  3. Obtain the correct and authentic recipes of how the respective dishes are made and served.
  4. Conduct the necessary training with all employees to ensure the final product is of the highest standard.
  5. Frequently ask guests for their feedback to continuously improve.
  6. Ensure a limited selection of Comfort Foods is available 24 hours in Room Service.
